About the Author

Dr. Artemio Cabahug, DM, has over 35 years of extensive experience in the practice and teaching of office administration and human resource management in the Philippines and in the Middle East. As a fresh B.S. Commerce graduate of the University of San Jose Recoletos in Cebu City in 1981, the young Archietim taught marketing and management at the PAFCA College in Lapu-Lapu City for one year. He then put up a handicraft business producing coconut-shell and seashell fashion accessories for export, and at the same time involved in food catering business, but he closed it down after starting to work in the Middle East for a two-year overseas contract.

In 1990, Archietim took up his Master’s degree in business management from the University of the Philippines as a university scholar, doing so while he worked as marketing manager and systems consultant for a Cebu City computer-telecom services firm. In 1993, the lure of overseas contract work took him back to the Middle East when he was recruited as executive secretary and administrative project head for an Al-Khobar-based consulting firm that assigned him to service Saudi Aramco, the world’s biggest oil producer. The firm subsequently assigned him to Saudi Aramco itself in Jeddah as executive secretary to the Vice President that lasted seven years until 2000. In 2008, he obtained his doctorate in human resources management from the University of San Jose Recoletos.

He is the founder and CEO of KKC Management Consultancy specializing in Organizational Development and doing consulting work with various corporations in the Philippines and the Middle East. Dr. Cabahug’s past professional involvements, – Founding president of CSOSA, Jeddah, KSA; Founder and advisor of SAFTE, Al-Khobar, KSA; Lecturer at Bahrain Training Institute in Manama, Bahrain; Sr. Lecturer at the University of the Philippines, Cebu; Dean of BSBA/Entrepreneurship at APCAS, Bataan; Human Resource Director at the University of Cebu; ETEEAP Coordinator at USJR.

He joins tennis tournaments and teach martial arts.
